Canon introduces HD projector
03 November 2008
Canon has introduced its first HD projector, the WUX10. This is an addition to the Xeed range and benefits from the new LCOS LCD panels, released in May. The WUX10 offers WUXGA (1920 x 1200) resolution. It also has the capability of converting to 1920 x 1080 (full HD) when an HD source such as a Blu-Ray player is connected. It also has built in networking for connection to WAN/LAN.
The WUX10 has brightness levels of 3,200 Ansi Lumens and contrast ratio of 1,000:1. It is aimed at use in conference centres and boardrooms, as well as specialist applications such as CAD and medical environments.
